Lomba Cerdas Cermat (LCC) adalah kegiatan rutin yang biasa dilaksanakan di sekolah, di tingkat kecamatan juga di tingkat kota atau kabupaten, bahkan tidak menutup kemungkinan para juara tingkat kota atau kabupaten akan dilombakan lagi di tingkat provinsi untuk selanjutnya maju ke tingkat nasional. Dalam LCC, siswa dituntut untuk menjawab pertanyaan sesuai dengan waktu yang ditentukan. Tentu saja kecepatan dan ketepatan dibutuhkan dalam perlombaan ini. Jenis LCC ada yang khusus pelajaran Bahasa Inggris, ada juga campuran dengan pelajaran lain.
